Hi! I'm Gaby! In my private practice I use an array of frameworks, often using CPT, CBT, and DBT in a targeted, often blended way: CPT guides my trauma/PTSD work by identifying “stuck points” and helping clients rework trauma-based beliefs through structured cognitive processing; CBT is my general approach for anxiety, depression & other concerns, focusing on the thought–feeling–behavior cycle through cognitive restructuring. DBT is central when emotion dysregulation, self-harm urges & impulsivity are present, so I use a validating stance and teach mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
As a Certified TP, I specialize in helping clients understand & heal from the effects of trauma using evidence-based approaches. Implementing CBT provides practical tools to identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns that often arise after difficult experiences. This combination allows clients to process & reframe and develop healthier coping skills.
