About
I am Gabriela and I provide adult therapy to folxs who are seeking support in navigating their life transitions such as pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. As a Woman of Color, I have learned that in order to support my Chinese Mexican children, my lens has to be one that acknowledges the systems and structures that impact families during this vulnerable periods of change. I enjoy seeing my clients stay true to the richness of their cultures and honor their values, despite the messages received from the dominant culture and thrive via their parent-child relationship.
Together we will explore your history, experiences with systemic racism, cultural influences, and core beliefs to get to a place of deeper insight related to your experiences. I provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space for you to explore your triggers, heal your inner child, and empower you to make the best decisions for you.
Navigating information from the dominant culture, family, friends, co-parenting, and social-media feels overwhelming and confusing. You don’t have to do this alone and you are deserving of support. I enjoy seeing my clients utilize learned techniques that support them in reducing negative thoughts, increase communication, and remembering their self-worth.
