If your child is having big emotions, shutting down, or acting in ways that leave you feeling confused or overwhelmed, you are not alone. Often, what looks like defiance, anxiety, or behavior problems is actually a child trying to communicate something they don’t yet have the words for. I work with children and teens through play therapy, sandplay and expressive arts while also helping parents understand what their child’s behavior is really saying and how to respond in ways that build connection, emotional safety, and resilience.

I approach my counseling work from a reflective, trauma informed, developmentally attuned lens, where behavior is not something to fix, but to also understand. Through play and conversation, we make sense of emotions, build insight, strengthen regulation, and support a more connected, confident sense of self. I create spaces where growth unfolds.

Clients come to therapy when emotions or behaviors feel overwhelming. I help them make sense of their feelings, express themselves, and build emotional awareness and regulation. I support parents in understanding what’s underneath behavior, helping create more grounded responses and stronger connection. I help adults identify root issues and heal past wounds
