I would be honored to work with you in a warm, empathic manner. I approach each client and each session with new eyes. I would help you to manage your mood or anxiety and teach you to cope more easily with life's challenges. We would discover the tools that work best with you by running simple experiments in your life, gathering results and deciding which tools to keep and which to set aside. My approach will attempt to empower you to make such changes in a judgment-free way to help you find a more successful way of living.
As a clinical psychologist, I use a cognitive-behavioral approach. I have extensive experience with children, adolescents, with young adults stepping out on their own, with working adults and military veterans and military families, and with depressed or anxious adults. I help families to effectively proceed through a divorce process.
I provide cognitive or intelligence testing for children who might be considered gifted and talented. I also evaluate for learning disabilities or attention deficits. My assessments are well received by Duval , St Johns and Clay County school districts of Florida. I also provide adult psychological evaluations (military, veteran, court-mandated).
