With over 10+ years of experience across inpatient, medical, school, home, and community settings, I am dedicated to providing the NWA community with diagnostic, compassionate, and evidence-based treatment, positive parenting support and resources. I specialize in navigating emotional reactivity due to challenges w anxiety/mood, self-esteem/id, trauma, ADHD, neurodiversity, and the impacts of systemic and generational stressors particularly within marginalized communities.
My practice Amara Therapy, is rooted in the belief that healing begins with learning to 'love your mind' + 'heal with grace'. This guides how I approach therapy—honoring the complexity of your story while fostering growth. I primarily use CBT-based frameworks while integrating trauma-responsive, developmentally appropriate, and culturally affirming care.
