No one had a perfect childhood, including you! Maybe your anxiety, depression, unhealthy coping, relationship struggles, and inner chaos aren't a character flaw, but a sign of untreated emotional wounds. Unless we actively attempt to make sense of our reactions and behaviors, they will continue to control us. Our bodies and minds remember the pain from the past and react to that pain whenever something reminds us of it. Increasing our awareness of these connections can be eye-opening and can allow us to shift how we perceive ourselves and our relationships. I help individuals gently explore the underlying sources of their pain, enabling healing at its root. My approach acknowledges how oppression and a toxic society affect mental health. By prioritizing compassion as a core intervention, I create a safe and empathetic space for clients to rebuild their sense of self and discover emotional freedom.
As a first-generation immigrant, I am familiar with the complexity of living in two cultures and empower people to understand their multicultural identities. People feel connected to me because I am validating, authentic, and invested in you as a client and a human. I am an animal lover/advocate and have special training in Emotional Support Animals (ESAs).
