Do intense emotions come out of nowhere and hit you like a ton of bricks? Do you have trouble identifying and understanding what you're feeling? Do you speak or act without thinking? Do you avoid doing things because you're afraid they won't work out? Are you scared that other people might judge you as harshly as you judge yourself? Maybe it feels like no one understands you, or you can't find the type of relationships you want, or you have trouble communicating clearly – maybe all of the above. You wonder whether things are ever going to change. You’re overwhelmed, you're struggling to manage it all, and you're feeling stuck.
I specialize in getting people unstuck. I give my clients the tools they need to solve their own problems along with the knowledge of when, where, and how to use each tool. I can teach you to control your emotions and gain a sense of stability, and guide you on the path to less anxiety, higher self-confidence, and better relationships. I can help you heal.
I approach my clients with unmistakable authenticity. When you meet with me, you're meeting with the real me. I hear where you’re coming from and validate you without losing sight of why you came to therapy in the first place – for things to be different. If you’re ready to build the life you want, let’s talk! I look forward to teaming up with you.

Groups
DBT Skills Group
I offer Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills training groups via telehealth. DBT consists of four skills areas: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. Skills are broken up into three modules that run for 10-12 weeks each. In DBT, we learn to accept ourselves as we are while acknowledging that we need to change to accomplish our goals. DBT skills are effective in addressing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, mood disorders, and difficulty controlling emotions. Groups are welcoming and affirming of all members, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, race, culture, spirituality, ability, age, or relationship status.
