I graduated in the top ten of my high school graduating class. During my senior year, I applied and was accepted into Tuskegee University with a presidential scholarship. I worked very hard throughout my college years and graduated with honors. I completed the Tuskegee University social work program and received a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work in 2006. After graduation, I went to work for the state of Alabama as Social Worker in Jefferson County. After a year of service and becoming licensed at the bachelor level, I decided to attend Alabama A&M University for a Master’s Degree in Social Work.
