As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Pastor, my whole goal is to make a positive impact in the lives of those I am privileged to serve. I recognize my limitations, I can't read minds but together we can conquer what we confront and we can recover from that which is uncovered. My responsibility is to create a safe space for you to share where your hurting and provide insight and intervention to help. I know that when people come to me, they are at the most vulnerable points in their lives, and I hold those moments sacred.

Are you tired of being strong? Do you feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders and it has become too much? Do you have feelings that you can’t explain? Do you cry when you’re alone and never let the world see you vulnerable but can’t stop due to the fear of what may happen if you take time to focus on your thoughts and feelings? If any of the this speaks to you, you are not alone.

Whether in person or via telehealth, I help my clients gain insight, strengthen relationships, and feel more fully themselves.
Has your current approach not been working? Sometimes communication, depression and anxiety still feels overwhelming. Sometimes shame, embarrassment, and dissociation still leaves you feeling invisible and misunderstood. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating conflict, infidelity, divorce, anxiety, and depression. My clients develop emotional insight, improve their relationships, learn healthier coping mechanisms, and create a more integrated sense of self. We’ll talk, but we’ll also experience things in session: learning how to sit with emotions, communicate clearly, set boundaries, and respond differently.

“I see you—because I’ve been there too.” As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I specialize in helping individuals heal from trauma, depression, anger, and anxiety. But I don’t just approach this work from clinical training—I come to it with lived experience. I know what it’s like to carry pain that feels too heavy and to want something more than just surviving. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, safe, and supported. I believe healing happens through connection, compassion, and the courage to explore what’s beneath the surface. Together, we’ll work to unpack what’s been holding you back—whether it's past trauma, over

Hello, my name is Dale. My journey to counseling came about a little differently than some. My background was in the medical field as a radiologic technologist where I had the privilege of working with hurting people every day. Then through a difficult journey of my own, I saw hurting people in a way that I had never seen. They were hurting from the inside, the hidden place holding wounds and experiences from loss, grief, and pain. I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
