I have spent several years in the corporate world, public service, and the mental health field, and each position has enabled me to adapt to change quickly and to work well under pressure. I have developed a tenacity towards growing and further developing in my purpose of helping others that I feel truly translates in the therapy room with my clients. I have extensive experience working with individuals, couples, families, and children, who want to experience the happiness that is much deserved in their life, along with working through a variety of mental health diagnoses, trauma, life changes, and difficult circumstances.

My ideal clients have recognized that day-to-day life is becoming harder to manage — often due to unresolved trauma, depression, grief, or life transitions. They're ready to take personal responsibility for their mental wellness and commit to their healing.
What brings them to my practice is the desire for something real. My clients often describe our sessions as feeling less like traditional therapy and more like an honest conversation — or, when necessary, a much-needed reality check. My approach is practical, realistic, and meets people where they are.

You may be the one holding everything together—your family, your household, your job—while quietly carrying stress, worry, or emotional exhaustion. When life shifts, relationships strain, or parenting becomes overwhelming, it can start to feel like you’re running on empty.

You're carrying something heavy — and you've been carrying it for a long time. Maybe it's the kind of trauma that doesn't make sense to people outside it: racial battle fatigue, identity-based exhaustion, intergenerational pain, the slow weight of being the one who always handles it. Maybe it's anxiety that flares without warning, or a relationship that keeps having the same fight in different costumes. Whatever brings you here, you deserve a therapist who sees you fully — without you having to explain why your story is your story.
Sessions are virtual. Most major insurances are accepted.

Intervention Therapists
How does an intervention work?
An intervention is a planned, structured meeting in which a person’s family or friends voice concerns about the person’s behavior and its consequences; the goal is for the person to accept treatment. In this meeting, the person’s loved ones (often with the guidance of a trained interventionist) share how the person’s behavior has harmed them and the consequences if the person refuses treatment. They collectively ask the person to accept a proposed treatment plan.
How effective are interventions?
There isn’t extensive research on the efficacy of interventions, in part because success is difficult to measure. Individuals often enter addiction treatment after an intervention, for example, but treatment itself may not work, especially if the person only begins due to external pressure from others rather than due to internal motivation to change. However, if all other attempts at helping someone have failed, an intervention may be worth exploring.
What are the limitations of interventions?
While a friend or family member’s intentions are in the right place in wanting to help a loved one through an intervention, there are significant limitations to the approach. The surprising nature of the event can make the person feel ambushed or judged. They may feel embarrassed or ashamed as a result, and relationships may be strained or broken. This can make it difficult for the individual to be receptive to the concerns of their loved ones and the interventionist.
Are there alternatives to interventions?
Rather than confronting a loved one through an intervention, an effective and less pressured approach is to create space for a caring, open, one-on-one conversation. This works best if the loved one asks open-ended questions, listens attentively to the answers, and frames their observations and statements with concern rather than judgment. More than one conversation may be needed, but change can take root over time.
