One of my greatest joys in life is my career as a professional counselor. It's so gratifying to work with my clients and help them reach their respective goals. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families treating their depression, anxiety and relationship issues. I also work with all types of addictions and destructive behaviors, helping my clients develop a healthier lifestyle. I encourage my clients to believe in themselves. It's my belief that with help, open-mindedness, and willingness to take action, clients can positively influence their destiny. During each session, aspirations and positive progress are addressed.

Dr. Cantor obtained his Masters and Doctorates in Psychology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook with special interests in Developmental Neuropsychology. He is trained in Clinical Psychopharmacology and holds Diplomates from the American Board of Forensic Examiners, International Academy of Behavioral Medicine, Counseling, and Psychotherapy, and Fellow Status of the Academy of Learning and Developmental Disorders, and the American Board of Psychological Specialties - Neuropsychology, and the National Acadenmy of Neuropsychology. He is a specialist with Developmental Disorder such as ADHD and Autism, Neurotrauma, Biological factors underlying Depression, and Forensics.

My specialty is assessing and managing ADD, in children, adolescents and adults. I have walked the walk in raising a son with ADD and anxiety and that has given me immeasurable understanding that didn't come from any psychology texts. I also work well with adults and teens with depression, anxiety and situational and relationship issues. Though my practice includes teens and children, I also very much enjoy seeing adults.

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 7 years of experience in the field. I specialize in working with clients in areas of anxiety, behavioral issues, coping skills, depression, panic attacks, racial identity, relationship issues, and self-esteem. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as eclectic & multicultural approaches, as I believe that no two situations are exactly the same. I am an active and empathetic communicator and work to better understand clients and find solutions together.

Dealing with feelings of anxiety, depression, hopelessness, PTSD, and/or the general difficulties of life can be hard. With that being said, I want to commend you for seeking out help to overcome these struggles. A person’s awareness and acceptance of their emotional complexities can be the difference between living a high quality of life, with no restrictions, and one that is filled with pain, loss and destructive cycles. I am a strong believer in therapy! There is a true advantage in talking through problems with someone who can offer objective feedback. A therapist can offer a different insight from friends and family. I believe that therapy is all about communication, both verbal and physical.

I am available by video session or in person session. I follow COVID-19 guidelines for in- person sessions. I believe that all people can feel satisfaction in their lives and can make changes that will benefit them. My goal is to empower people to achieve their potential. I am a licensed clinical social worker with direct experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, utilizing a wide range of modalities in order to maximize a person-centered approach. I received a Master’s degree in Social Work in December 2016 from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, TN. In 2018, my family and I relocated to South Georgia.Since then, I worked with adolescents at Donalsonville Hospital Behavioral Health Unit, and I completed the Georgia required hours to become an LCSW in September 2020.

I have 15 years of experience in the counseling field. I use a growth-oriented approach in helping my clients create positive life changes. I truly believe that most people instinctively know what is best for them and their situation. I work with people who struggle with anxiety, mood swings, addictions, and marital problems. Life can be difficult at times, especially when we feel isolated. So often, we wear masks for the benefit of those around us, while inside we suffer and abuse ourselves.
