I see my role as a psychotherapist as that of the catalyst for change. I integrate therapeutic techniques to foster a safe, non-judgmental counseling environment where clients are able to do their internal work. The approaches I utilize include Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Mind/Body Awareness. My roles in life have included being an elementary and middle school educator, caregiver, spouse, parent of adult children, and most recently grandparent. I'm experienced in the dynamics of the ever-evolving family system.
