We also help those who need a safe, structured living environment to start building their foundation in recovery with a variety of mood disorders as well as addiction disorders.

There are few places where we can be our authentic self. During our time together I will encourage you to be all that you are as we discuss all that you want and can be. My focus is working with clients who sense that their life is not working out the way they would like because of the role of substances, emotional instability, or feeling overwhelmed by daily life struggles. Learning to cope with life when you weren't given the tools can be overwhelming. I use a strengths-based approach to improve symptoms and reach your identified goals while talking through skills that build a sense of stability and wholeness.

My passion is helping children, adolescents, and adults build self awareness and acquire positive coping strategies and skills that allow them to lead more fulfilling lives. I aim to create an environment that is welcoming and non-judgmental - a space in which the client feels safe and secure. I work collaboratively with each client to address feelings tied to anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, stress, interpersonal struggles, self-esteem, behavioral issues, parent-child relations, abuse, and family and life changes/transitions.

I enjoy working with ages older teens (18 and up), adults, and couples. Common issues: Life transitions, grief, self-esteem, divorce, depression, anxiety, relationship/marital/family conflicts, infertility, spirituality/finding life purpose, work/life balance, perfectionism, career, anxiety, and depression. My goal is to help clients discover & develop their own talents and strengths regardless of their past, promote self-awareness and authenticity, and collaboratively assist them in achieving their therapeutic goals. I believe that YOU are the expert on your life, I am just here to help you along the way.

The positive benefits of a therapeutic relationship include self-understanding and self-acceptance, emotional balance, resolution of past hurts, freedom from guilt and shame, empathy, healthy dependency, contentment, a sense of wholeness, and empowerment to give and receive love deeply. I have the training and experience to help people achieve these benefits and in the process overcome roadblocks like depression or anxiety​, negative self-talk, grief and loss, destructive relationship patterns, marital distress, sexual struggles, and various types of trauma.

This is when it is necessary to mindfully keep one foot in the present and one foot in the past in order to safely reprocess certain memories and emotional responses.

As an understanding empathetic counselor, I am dedicated to helping clients develop real and workable solutions to the obstacles they encounter as they journey through life.
