I am passionate about helping others transform their thinking to ultimately transform their lives! With undergraduate degrees in Education and experience as a teacher and administrator, I was intrigued by how my students’ life experiences influenced their learning. This curiosity led me to pursue a Masters in Social Work to understand the person-in-environment framework. I now use a strengths-based approach to support young adults and women in enriching their relationships with themselves and others.

You can be doing everything “right” and still feel anxious, overwhelmed, and mentally exhausted. It’s hard to feel confident or at ease when your mind won’t slow down and keeps analyzing, second-guessing, and running through every possible outcome. You may be tired of the pressure you put on yourself, all of the overthinking, and that critical inner voice that never seems satisfied. Even when things look fine on the outside, it can feel like you are always falling short. You might even understand why you feel this way, but that hasn't led to change. My goal is to do more than help you find temporary relief.

I work with adolescents and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, stress, relationship challenges, and other emotional difficulties. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward. Together, we create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can process their experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, build resilience, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

In building resiliency there is a frequent pivot between surrendering & fighting for strength to define a purposed life. At our best we clearly see our resilience, but at our worst our vision is often disillusioned with the “could haves”/“should haves”. I work with you to help shape an achievable vision to work towards actualizing your greatest potential. Using a Strength-based approach I shift self-talk away from constant thoughts about “what’s wrong” to “what’s good” as the smallest affirmation can uplift immensely. When appropriate, I incorporate Spiritual Social Work as empowerment to faith over fear.

Something feels off. Your mind won’t slow down, sleep is inconsistent, and stress feels constant. It’s hard to focus, relax, or feel like yourself. You may notice changes in appetite, motivation, or energy, and you might be coping in ways you want to stop like smoking or other habits that no longer serve you. For athletes, performers, and professionals, stress can also show up as declining performance when you know you're capable of more. You don’t have to figure this out alone. I work with adults, teens, athletes, and professionals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, emotional overwhelm, and habits they want to change.

I work with people carrying more than most would know — leaders whose roles no longer fit, parents holding everything together while something quietly unravels, high-achievers who’ve done “the work” and still feel stuck.
My background in behavioral healthcare gives me an insider’s understanding of the systems meant to help people heal — and where they fall short. I help clients see the larger context of their lives, not just their symptoms.
My approach is direct, warm, and grounded. You’ll feel challenged and seen. If you tend to put everyone else first, this is your space.

I am so happy you are here. Bios can be so stale, but hopefully this one will paint a colorful picture of who I am and what to expect in a session with me. Being a therapist is literally so cool and rewarding. Each day I have the opportunity to offer at least two things – to help you feel understood and less alone. No matter where you are in your life, I want to meet you there. I strive to provide a safe environment for clients from different backgrounds, cultures, sexual identities, gender identities or expression.
