Therapists in Powder Springs, GA

I began my journey in the mental health field in 2015 as a discharge planner on an inpatient unit at a regional hospital in Alabama. During this time, I pursued and earned my Master’s degree in Social Work. Upon graduation, I transitioned into a role as a social worker on that same unit, where I continued to serve patients in need. Prior to entering the mental health field, I gained valuable experience as a paralegal for 14 years, which contributed to my strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Congratulations on making the decision to consider getting therapy. I sincerely look forward to assisting you on your life's journey. In order for therapy to be most successful, it is important for you to take an active role and for you to know that you are in complete control, although our relationship will be collaborative. My role is to empower you in your growth process so that you will be more capable of facing life's challenges in the future without me. I don't believe in creating dependency or prolonging therapy longer than necessary.
