Life is full ups and downs. In my practice I will try and help you find those ups and get back there. I have extensive experience working with women issues, relationship issues, neurodivergence, trauma, family separation, anxiety, depression, sexual abuse , and parenting. I find it impactful to look at our own system and be in tune with all our parts for optimal balance and inner peace. There are many studies that show that the most effective thing in therapy that determines positive progress is the rapport between you and the therapist. Finding who you connect with is essential, let's see if we could be a good fit.

Deciding to begin therapy could be one of the most challenging decisions you face for you and your family. Identifying that you need additional support and accepting the challenge of allowing someone to step in and provide you with that support is a major step in the right direction and requires a lot of courage. Throughout my career, I have dedicated my practice to serving adults, adolescents, and families who identify as queer and/or transgender/non-binary. In addition, I also provide play therapy services to children (5-10 years-old) and their families who are experiencing emotional and behavioral regulation concerns. It is my philosophy that we are never too young or too old to begin our journey through growth, healing, and self-discovery. Using therapeutic practices that are centered around mind-body connections and trauma informed care, I would love to be a part of you or your child's journey towards wellness.

Your life seems to be going well, but deep inside you feel like you're just a great pretender. For many of the clients I meet with, these difficulties include depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and relationship concerns such as infidelity, and struggles with emotional and physical intimacy, communication and conflict resolution. Facing challenges around trauma, intimacy, sexuality, gender, and sexual orientation can be the most intimate challenges of our lives, about which we're afraid of being misunderstood and judged. I'll help you using methods specific to your needs, situation, and comfort level (which never involve any nudity, touching, or sexual behavior). I'll help you feel empowered, achieve healing, reclaim intimacy, and improve quality of life. We'll work together, at your pace, in a relaxed, non-judgmental, private setting. I appreciate how difficult it can be to ask for help when you're used to going it alone. At the same time, you may feel depleted and stressed from trying to navigate your way on your own. I've helped people from different cultural backgrounds with issues such as grief and loss, depression, anxiety, relationship and work difficulties, and illness.
