I work with children (7 and up), teens, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, autism, trauma, life changes, grief, and parenting challenges.
I love working with people navigating life transitions, including young adults, parents, couples, families, and those processing grief and loss. I especially connect with clients who are thoughtful, sensitive, creative, high-achieving, or used to caring for everyone else first. Some come in knowing exactly what they’re struggling with, while others simply know they don’t feel like themselves anymore and want a space where they can finally exhale. Many are looking for more than coping skills alone. They want to understand themselves more deeply, feel safer in their minds and bodies, and reconnect with what matters most.

My specialty includes working with anxiety, trauma, cancer diagnosis and career changes.
Approved Consultant for EMDR and certified. ADHD certified provider having done thousands of hours of EMDR therapy. Why is EMDR so effective? By using BLS, the brain is able to create new neural pathways that leads to healing. So many times, I have heard people say that they have spent a great deal of couch time elsewhere before they tried EMDR and after they did EMDR, they found relief. Seeing the relief and victory that they achieve by using EMDR in a relatively short period of time is just wonderful. EMDR is hard work, but the benefits of doing this therapy can last a lifetime.

I often attract the overachievers, the go-getters, the ones who have learned that things could have been better in their childhood and want to do differently (the change makers!). Oftentimes with overachieving and go getting is people pleasing, earning your worth by doing, and perfectionism. I often attract clients who are brave, courages and ready for change, ready for authenticity, ready to feel empowered and increase their self worth. I often attract clients like... you! You're searching for a therapist who will nurture and challenge you..be your biggest advocate and keep you grounded when things seem out of control..

My areas of expertise include trauma, loss/grief, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, abuse, relationship issues, separation/divorce, personal growth, co-dependency and many other general issues.
For a great number of clients I utilize a technique called Brainspotting to help alleviate many symptoms associated with trauma, emotional &/or physical pain and most conditions that cause distress. Brainspotting helps clients process distress from a deep brain level and can help clients process these conditions quickly and more acutely.

Many of the clients I work with are navigating pregnancy or postpartum changes, infertility, grief, trauma, or other life transitions that feel heavier than expected.
I work with teens, young adults, adults, and older adults ready to understand what’s keeping them stuck and create meaningful change. Whether you’re navigating pregnancy or postpartum transitions, infertility, perinatal loss, or other life changes, therapy offers a steady space to slow down and move forward with greater clarity.

Have you been feeling like you’re constantly giving more than you have to give? Boundaries slip, communication turns into conflict or silence, and the people in your life don’t seem to hear you. Maybe you’re overwhelmed, running on empty, and wondering if things will ever feel different — not just in your head, but in your body and your relationships. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing happens when we feel seen, heard, and held — not fixed. In our work together, we’ll not only explore and reframe unhelpful thoughts, but also learn how to regulate and befriend your body as part of the healing process.

I work with clients who struggle with ADHD, depression, or trauma related to past or current events.
Do you feel like your mind is always racing, struggling to focus, stay organized, or complete tasks? ADHD can make everyday life feel overwhelming. If traditional treatments haven’t worked, or if you’re looking for a new approach, ketamine-assisted therapy (KAP) might be an option. KAP can help quiet the mental noise, improve emotional regulation, and create the mental flexibility needed to break free from negative patterns. By working together, we can explore how ADHD affects you personally—whether it’s chronic procrastination, self-doubt, or burnout—and use innovative therapy to build strategies that work for your unique brain.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists
When should I seek treatment for trauma?
Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.

How long does trauma therapy take?
Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.

What happens if trauma is left untreated?
Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.

Can PTSD come back after treatment?
It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
