My ideal client is that person who's caught in the constant mental chatter of "did I say the right thing?" The one who's always making sure everyone else is okay while feeling one deep breath away from overwhelm. Whether they're an adult lost in spirals of what-if thoughts, or a college student whose heart races every time a professor might call on them, ready for change. Someone looking to move beyond the exhausting cycle of people pleasing and create a life that feels more like them, not just who everyone else needs them to be. I also work well with creatives who see problems from many angles but struggle with their own emotions.

EMDR certified provider having done thousands of hours of EMDR therapy. ADHD certified. Why is EMDR so effective? By using BLS, the brain is able to create new neural pathways that leads to healing. So many times, I have heard people say that they have spent a great deal of couch time elsewhere before they tried EMDR and after they did EMDR, they found relief. Seeing the relief and victory that they achieve by using EMDR in a relatively short period of time is just wonderful. EMDR is hard work, but the benefits of doing this therapy can last a lifetime.

I love working with people navigating life transitions, including young adults, parents, couples, families, and those processing grief and loss. I especially connect with clients who are thoughtful, sensitive, creative, high-achieving, or used to caring for everyone else first. Some come in knowing exactly what they’re struggling with, while others simply know they don’t feel like themselves anymore and want a space where they can finally exhale. Many are looking for more than coping skills alone. They want to understand themselves more deeply, feel safer in their minds and bodies, and reconnect with what matters most.

Are you feeling emotionally overwhelmed or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to change? Do you find yourself overthinking everything, doubting your decisions, or being hard on yourself? Maybe you feel like you're "not good enough," or your emotions feel intense and lead you to react in ways you later regret. If this sounds like you, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to keep feeling this way.

I enjoy helping others see what is possible with positive mental health. I feel that therapy gives people time for healing and discussing issues of importance to them. It is also a time to discuss the future and how they see themselves in it. Setting goals and working to reach them are essential to the counseling process, and I am here to help you determine when it is time to move on from issues that are keeping you in a negative position in life.
