Do you struggle with feeling disconnected from yourself, others, or God? Do you find yourself doing the very things you do not want to do? Maybe you feel unsettled, restless, or weighed down by old patterns that no longer serve you. Many people today are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and uncertain about how to navigate low self-worth, parenting stress, the impact of past trauma, and postpartum changes. You don’t have to figure it out alone. I believe it is possible to live with greater freedom, connection, and joy, and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you begin this journey.

You are tired of going through the motions of life only to be disappointed, discouraged and depressed. You can't sleep well and you are overthinking about what you said. You experience stress and anxiety about small things now. It used to be just the big things that worried you, and now life stressors and the difficult circumstance you face is all you can think about it. It is impacting your relationships and you have doubt that God will see you through this adversity. Perhaps you feel hopeless, alone and anxious.

Couples often experience the frustration of being stuck in a pattern of having the same conflicts over and over. The vision of loving one person for a lifetime seems easy in the early stages of love. But, when the inevitable stress of life comes, you may find yourself questioning the decision to be together. Many couples today know they want better relationships than their own parents had, but need role models and help building lasting marriages. You are not alone.

I want to help you tap into your own unique spirituality.
My work blends the training I've received as a therapist and a pastor with creative practices and embodied ritual. Some may call this holistic or eclectic. I just call it authentic. It's how I show up in the world and the way I seek healing, wholeness and spiritual growth in my own life. I love helping individuals of all ages, genders and identities to tap into the ways God shows up in their bodies and in the natural world. But I do have a special place in my heart for women. I have always been drawn to working with the sacred feminine and excavating the wild, fluid, imaginative beauty that orthodox religion has tried to bury.

Therapy is a collaborative human endeavor, joining you in your journey towards wholeness, healing, liberation, and transformation. I emphasize collaboration because it illuminates the heart of therapy and life, where relationality is foundational. As a holistic therapist, I understand that well-being hinges on our relationships with ourselves, others, and nature. Symptoms like anxiety, depression, and stress signal ruptured relationships, manifesting in unhealthy patterns of thoughts, behaviors and emotions. Let's embark on self-discovery to uncover and replace these patterns, moving from discord to harmony and fulfillment together

You’ve spent so much time being everything for everyone else—but now you’re the one who feels lost. If anxiety, depression, or burnout has become your new normal, you don’t have to stay stuck there. I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected from their identity and sense of purpose—whether it’s from high demands at work, parenting pressures, or major life transitions. You may find yourself thinking, “I should be fine,” but deep down you know something has to shift.

My name is Jenny, and I help individuals and couples to manage life's unexpected difficulties. I am a relational therapist who prioritizes building rapport and connection to achieve success. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. In my practice, I use a short-term (6-8 sessions), cognitive-based approach to help you identify unwanted and unhelpful thoughts and challenge your thinking patterns and communication styles. When desired, I am happy to incorporate a Christian perspective into your care to provide a more holistic approach to mental health and relationships.

Imagine you grew up in a house filled with ghosts. Their presence was palpable and they inconsistently, yet consistently, came out to scare you. You worry they followed you out of your childhood and into your adult world because you just can't stop trying to find them before they get you first. You still see them sometimes, but you can't name them, and you fear no one else will believe you if you tell them they exist. If your stomach just dropped or you felt vaguely seen in this analogy, you may know the experience of living with complex trauma. If you are looking for a ghostbuster, I am your clinician.

You are ready to go from chaos to clarity. Maybe your emotions and sensitivity are behaving unpredictably and you are unsure where the discomfort is coming from. Maybe you are fully aware that there is more to discover about yourself and not sure where to go from here. You are looking for the understanding and wisdom to be at peace, while life seems out of your control. The mix of personal stressors and societal stressors have become overwhelming and uncertainty keeps you moving at a pace of emergency.

Grounding Flight Wellness offers psychotherapy services for adult individuals and specializes in trauma recovery/PTSD, ketamine assisted IFS, and spirituality.
I firmly believe that every person can benefit from working with a therapist. Let's face it...none of us get through childhood and adolescence scot free. We all have experiences that have caused us emotional, relational, and/or physical pain. Psychotherapy, at its best, provides a safe and supportive relational environment to help heal emotional and relational injuries from the past, untangle outdated and now unhelpful coping strategies developed to deal with the hurts, and gain the skills and understanding needed to move forward in life with stability and flexibility to handle the future.

Hello and welcome. I'm Dr. Scott. My journey into holistic healing began in my adolescence. An experience that profoundly shaped my approach to wellness and my passion for helping others. At 15, I faced the immense grief of losing my mother to terminal illness. A tumultuous period compounded by familial neglect. This adversity ignited a quest for understanding and peace—a journey spanning over six decades. Along the way, I've explored and trained in various modalities, from breathwork and Reiki to Qigong, becoming a practitioner by profession and necessity.

Life is a series of transitions, each bringing unique and unexpected challenges. Marriage, job change, mid-life, retirement, loss of a loved one; nothing completely prepares you for your own experience no matter what you have observed in others. Whether an individual or a couple, having a therapist to help you walk through those times helps bring clarity to the discomfort and confusion. Together we can explore those unspoken needs and have the necessary difficult conversations.

Spirituality Therapists

What should I expect from therapy that incorporates a focus on spirituality?

Spirituality can mean different things to different individuals, depending on their experiences, beliefs, and life histories. Some individuals focus on strengthening their belief system, while others experience spirituality in secular ways, such as through meditation, yoga, or by spending time in nature. Clients can expect a therapist to help guide and grow their spirituality through any of these techniques, encouraging the individual to cope with the challenges they face and develop strategies to build resilience and purpose to improve their outlook in life.

What are the most common treatments that include spirituality?

There are several treatments that incorporate spirituality. Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) helps a person examine and reframe their negative thoughts and behaviors. Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) focuses on emotional acceptance and psychological flexibility. Existential therapy is most often used to address anxiety, depression, grief, loneliness, apathy, despair, questions of identity, and feelings of purposelessness and existential dread. Transpersonal therapy focuses on a client’s spirituality and meaning in life and may incorporate techniques including meditation, visualization, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, and or breathwork.

Can therapy incorporating spirituality help atheistic or agnostic individuals?

Yes. For non-believers, spirituality can offer benefits including a greater sense of connection to others and to the natural world. An interest in spirituality may also spur individuals to pursue mindfulness practices, or to contemplate their purpose in life and how to achieve it.

How effective is spirituality as a therapeutic remedy?

Research suggests spirituality is generally beneficial for individuals. It is correlated with better health habits, such as less substance use, and an improved capacity to cope with stress and other mental health challenges. Increased spirituality can lead individuals to become more empathic and less materialistic, as well.
