You are constantly in the mode of defending, running away, people pleasing or in analysis paralysis (procrastination). As a result of your responses to your fears, each of your relationships suffer. I am a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked in a variety of settings: the Army, a women's center, private practice, Dept of Corrections, Dept. of Juvenile Justice and the media (I have had radio and television spots discussing mental health issues). I work with ages 15- and enjoy teaching anger management skills, general stress management/ coping/social skills and dealing with mood disorders and trauma. I work with individuals, couples and famiies to enhance relationships. I believe that for some clients, the therapeutic relationship is the main factor in the therapy.

My name is Carol Brown. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC). I worked in public mental health with adults and families; and Hephzibah Behavioral Health with high risk children and adolescents for several years dealing with many issues, including addiction and anger manage- ment. Now, in a private setting, I offer Marriage and Family Therapy, Couple Therapy and Individual Therapy to adults, adolescents, and children. Providing medications without considering other alternatives. It's as if someone has declared war on you and those like you.

I provide face to face sessions at my office having completed vaccinations or can provide telehealth services. My office provides complete confidentiality with no staff or waiting area.
