Over the several decades I have been in practice, I have enjoyed a large number of approaches to the different and complex problems that face people. Helping clients find and energize their own internal resources is not only inspiring, it is also exciting. Although many of my friends and colleagues have retired, I have not because there is nothing that I would rather do.

I'm a licensed clinical social worker. Since becoming a licensed clinical social worker in 2019, I’ve dedicated my career to the healthcare field, where I’ve witnessed firsthand the profound connection between mental and physical health. Over the years, I’ve supported individuals navigating complex medical challenges, and it became undeniably clear that emotional well-being is not separate from physical healing—it’s central to it. My work bridges that crucial gap, advocating for holistic approaches that honor the whole person: mind and body alike.

Therapy doesn't have to look like it's portrayed in movies and TV. There doesn't need to be a strange man in a chair with glasses and a notebook, saying "mmm hmm, how does that make you feel?" What therapy should look like is a safe space with a safe person who hears and understands you. That's where I come in! I tend to approach each patient as needed. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, and it's important to understand what each patient needs and what will help each patient individually.
