"Me, Too"
"Me Too " provides a platform for our teenage citizens to realize their strength while negotiating specific challenges to include: social acceptance, conflict resolution, low self-worth, and substance abuse. We want to improve our teens ability to reduce the use of self-destructive coping strategies while developing into healthy young adults. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills will be utilized during group sessions. Members will also improve self-image and learn to tolerate distress, regulate emotions, utilize mindfulness, and improve interpersonal effectiveness.
