It stings a little when repair with the people you are closest to feels out of reach. You have mastered complex systems, put in significant hours mastering your craft, and shown everyone else exactly what it means to be a "team player." Yet, within your own home, there is a deafening silence. You have an innate desire to be seen wholly by your partner, but you’re stuck in exhausting cycles where misunderstandings pile up. I work with high stressed adults in the Atlanta Metro area & across the state of Alaska who are ready for intentional, results focused work in their relationships without undermining their current value systems.

I know that choosing the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially with so many profiles to sift through. It's not just about qualifications and experience—it’s about connection. Things like warmth, trust, a sense of humor, and that intuitive feeling of “I like you” are just as important as a therapist's clinical skills and training. My goal is to create a therapeutic environment where you feel truly known, valued, and understood. This is your space to be fully yourself—no filters, no pretenses. Whether that means dropping an f-bomb, shedding tears, or showing up with all parts of your personality - I'm here for it!

You’re building the business, leading the team, raising the kids, managing the home, showing up in your relationships, and trying to hold onto yourself somewhere in the middle of it all. From the outside, your life may look successful, but internally you feel stretched thin, anxious, overstimulated, emotionally exhausted, or like you can never fully turn “off.” You want more than just achievement. You want wealth in the fullest sense of the word: financial freedom, meaningful relationships, presence with your family, a regulated nervous system, and a life that actually feels good to live.

I love working with people navigating life transitions, including young adults, parents, couples, families, and those processing grief and loss. I especially connect with clients who are thoughtful, sensitive, creative, high-achieving, or used to caring for everyone else first. Some come in knowing exactly what they’re struggling with, while others simply know they don’t feel like themselves anymore and want a space where they can finally exhale. Many are looking for more than coping skills alone. They want to understand themselves more deeply, feel safer in their minds and bodies, and reconnect with what matters most.

The ideal client for me is someone who is willing to work on themselves and improve. Life in general is difficult so I don't expect there to be easy issues. No matter the issue, you can overcome anything with a positive mind!

Finding Your Ase’ was founded in 2017 from the belief that healing is deeply personal and shaped by culture, relationships, and meaning. Through my work, I observed that many individuals desired therapeutic support that honored emotional health alongside cultural and spiritual values. This led me to develop an integrative approach informed by postmodern therapy and culturally grounded healing perspectives.

Pregnancy, Prenatal, Postpartum Therapists
What are the most effective ways to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns?
The most effective way to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns is by finding a therapist who has prior experience helping other patients overcome the challenge being faced. For example, a marriage and family therapist may have experience helping couples adjust to their new relationship dynamic. An anxiety specialist may have experience helping with phobias or illness anxiety related to the child’s health. A depression specialist may have experience treating postpartum depression.

When should I seek treatment for prenatal or postpartum concerns?
Pregnancy and the postpartum period involve intense physical and mental changes; a degree of upset and instability is normal. However, if these changes impair daily functioning, it may be time to seek help. This distinction is pertinent for postpartum depression: A period of teariness, irritability, and distress is difficult but normal in the one to two weeks after childbirth (sometimes called the “baby blues.”) But if feelings of sadness and hopelessness persist beyond that period, the person should seek treatment.

How do I manage worries during pregnancy or the postnatal period?
A therapist can help patients develop the tools they need to manage anxieties during or after pregnancy. Cognitive behavioral therapy can help people identify and reframe harmful patterns of thought, and change their behaviors. Other techniques and skills can allow people to develop acceptance, psychological flexibility, self-compassion, communication skills, and more.

Are there specific medications for postpartum depression?
In 2019, the FDA approved the first medication designed to treat postpartum depression. The medication is called brexanolone and is delivered intravenously by a medical professional over the course of a few days. However, typical antidepressants, which are more accessible, can also treat postpartum depression. The disorder is often best treated through a combination of medication and therapy.
