Sometimes in the midst of struggle, it is hard to be hopeful. When it is hard, it is my privilege to hold that hope for you. I work with individuals and couples 25 years and older. I am passionate about working with couples through affair recovery and other difficult transitions. I am trained in the Gottman method and use this approach along with techniques from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help my couples reach their relationship goals. I also have a passion for working with sex addiction, trauma, grief and loss; and as a first-generation American, the complexities of a multicultural existence.

Most couples who find their way here have already tried talking it through — and keep ending up in the same place. Most couples who find their way here have already tried talking it through — and keep ending up in the same place. The problem usually isn't effort or intention. It's that they're missing a framework built on what actually works. I'm a Gottman Method Level 3 practitioner with 15 years teaching communication at NYU Tisch. I work with couples navigating conflict, emotional distance, eroded trust, and affair recovery — and with individuals dealing with anxiety, burnout, and major life transitions.

Do you feel like your relationship isn’t what it used to be? Maybe life has gotten busy, conversations turn into misunderstandings, or you find yourselves feeling more like roommates than partners. You remember when things felt easier—when you felt close, understood, and secure—but you’re not sure how to get back there. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, especially if you’re unsure what to expect.

I am a trauma-informed provider who supports individuals and couples navigating grief/loss, transition, conflict, and trauma. I am affirming of all members of the LGBTQ+ community and am passionate about supporting folks identifying as neurodiverse (eg. autistic, AuDH, diagnosed with ADHD, etc ). Clients I support often struggle with the impact of stories about who they "should be", wondering, "Do I matter?" or shedding pieces of themselves to create a sense of belonging. Understanding our stories is one of the bravest things we can do. Together we can explore yours, identify your strengths and values, and pursue healing and growth.

I am licensed in GA and MA. I specialize in working with other providers, high-level and high-functioning professionals, parents, teachers and caretakers who are struggling with anxiety, burn out, to find balance in their lives, and perhaps dealing with their own health and chronic health issues. Other areas I support: self-esteem, life transitions/adjustments and relationships. We often support and hold space for others without recognizing our own limits, exhaustion, sickness, chronic health issues, and need for love and support for ourselves. I hold space to partner with you to create boundaries, healing, and support for self.

Life has many twist and turns. Some, we are able to handle and get back on track, while others make us STOP! It is then that we may encounter various emotions that make us question our purpose, family, marriage/relationships, career choice, spirituality and so much more. It is during these times where we may feel shame, doubt or even embarrassed because for so many years, we’ve worn a smile on our face and pretended that "everything is okay..." Society has projected, socially stereotyped or even profiled us to be someone we are not. Well, today is the day for change. Today is the day you take back control of your life.

Relationships and life transitions can be both deeply rewarding and incredibly challenging—and it’s okay to need support along the way. As a Georgia therapist, I specialize in helping individuals and couples strengthen their relationships and navigate life’s major transitions, including the changes that come with pregnancy and early parenthood, parenting challenges, and shifting partnership dynamics. I especially enjoy supporting couples who feel disconnected after becoming parents, couples navigating ADHD/non-ADHD dynamics, and partners who want to communicate more effectively and feel more like a team again.

Infidelity Therapists
How does therapy for infidelity work?
A skilled infidelity therapist will provide a safe space for clients to communicate their feelings and concerns. The goal is to be completely honest about what led to the cheating and how it has affected the entire family to prevent it from recurring in the future. The therapist will help the clients work on rebuilding mutual trust and respect and developing better communication and conflict-resolution skills. If the goal is to remain a couple, clients will learn the “danger signs” for their specific relationship, and they will make a renewed commitment to be faithful.

How long does therapy for infidelity take?
Recovery from infidelity can take time, and it can vary from person to person. Generally, a therapist will want to see the clients at least once a week for around six months. Then the sessions can be arranged as needed, depending on the clients’ individual needs. While therapy may end or shift to an as-needed basis, it can take up to two years or more for some clients to fully recover from infidelity.

How does therapy help the partner who was cheated on?
When a client discovers their partner’s infidelity, their trust in the relationship and in the life they had together may be shattered. They often experience mental health symptoms, such as anxiety, depression, grief, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They don’t always want to stay in the relationship; they may feel ambivalent or may even want to leave. Therapy gives these clients a safe and healthy way to communicate all of their complicated emotions and concerns.

How does therapy help the partner who committed infidelity?
Infidelity often occurs when one or both partners’ emotional needs are not being met in the relationship. Therapy can help this client understand why they cheated and figure out how to address those unmet needs without resorting to infidelity in the future. This can lessen (but not entirely eliminate) the risk of repeated infidelity. Clients who cheat may also feel intense guilt about deceiving their partners, a sentiment that they can work through in therapy.
