I have been in practice for 20 plus years. I have worked with a very diverse group of clients in terms of age, sex, race, and ethnic background. My current active clients include adults born in 6 different decades. I work with individuals and do a good deal of couples counseling.
Everyone has bad days. Even the most fortunate and well-adjusted of us struggle with feeling overwhelmed, lost, or anxious from time to time. But your dark days shouldn’t outweigh your bright ones. Maybe you find yourself lacking motivation. Or perhaps worrying has become a norm for you. Maybe you realize you have an unhealthy relationship with food or other substances—or even a person. No matter your challenge, it may be time to talk with someone. I'm here for you. Together, we can work to understand and address what’s holding you back from being the person you know you can be.
Our approach to counseling is beneficial to those who need guidance and support while navigating through crisis and conflicts, grief, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, challenges to confidence, and other emotional life issues.
As an existentialist and humanist, I welcome you to join me as we explore the journey and create a positive way of being. I have been in practice for over 20 years and provide individual, family and couples counseling. As the former LGBT Center Director, I have experience working with individuals, families, and couples and have assisted many in the transitioning process. I can assist with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, negative thoughts, illness, loss and letting go of old patterns that no longer fit. I would be honored to meet with you and assist you in moving forward.
**Not actively taking new clients at this time** I enjoy working with clients presenting with a wide variety of concerns. Whether you are need of a brief adjustment during a difficult time or an extensive look at deep wounds, I am willing and able to support you and your goals. My specialties include trauma, anxiety, depression, self-harming behaviors, spiritual concerns, relationship problems, and other life changes. I love working with preteens, teens, young adults, and those young at heart. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients on their journeys towards healing and wholeness.
