I offer therapy sessions in-person, on the world's softest sofa, or online via video.
I approach therapy with the deep belief that healing is possible. As a social worker, I’ve worked with individuals who have experienced trauma, and I want you to know that you don’t have to face this journey alone. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to speak openly, process your experiences, and begin the work of healing at your own pace.

My ideal clients are people who feel overwhelmed by their emotions, relationships, or life stressors and are ready for change. Many are navigating Borderline Personality Disorder, anxiety, depression, Bipolar Disorder, trauma, or ongoing relationship challenges. Often, they come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, struggling to regulate their emotions, or feeling unsure how to make progress in their personal lives. I help clients move forward by creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space and by implementing evidenced-based practices, like DBT, to help overcome the obstacles are facing.

I offer therapy sessions in-person and online!
My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and a deep respect for each person's unique story. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a specialization in Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), to support clients in navigating the challenges they face. I believe healing begins when we look at the whole person—not just their symptoms—and consider the broader systems they are part of, whether that’s family, community, or culture.I work with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.

My inspiration is you. Do you struggle with anxiety, self-esteem, or relationships that affects your peace in your daily life? Do you feel overwhelmed and wonder if life could feel less of a cluster, more grounded, empowered, and fulfilling? Now more than ever, we're living in a world full of dysfunction at every turn, creating anxiety in our hearts and minds as we navigate through these chaotic times. It can be challenging pursuing a life of fulfillment and peace when everything around us seems to reinforce the opposite. It's time for you to take action and break the chains restraining you from securing the life you deserve.

You don’t have to keep holding everything together on your own. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, or just not like yourself lately—you’re not alone. I work with teachers, moms, and kids who are carrying a lot and need a space to finally exhale. As a therapist, my style is warm, real, and down-to-earth. I create a space where you can talk openly without feeling judged or “clinical.” Whether you're navigating stress from the classroom, the demands of parenting, or just trying to get through the day. "I provide virtual therapy sessions to clients in NY,GA, AL,CA. Those locations are not physical office locations. "

FAQ - About In Person Therapy
What are the benefits of in-person therapy?
In-person therapy offers several benefits that some people find highly valuable for their mental health treatment. Being present in the same room as your therapist can create a stronger sense of connection and allow for more nuanced communication through body language. Some people may also find it easier to focus in therapy when they are in a dedicated space and away from potential distractions related to home or work; attending an in-person session provides a clear boundary between therapy time and the rest of your life. For certain therapeutic approaches, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), exposure therapy, or somatic therapy, being in person may be particularly important, as these therapies benefit from the therapist being able to observe and respond to a client’s physical cues effectively. Additionally, some individuals simply feel more comfortable discussing sensitive or painful topics when they are face-to-face with their therapist rather than on a screen.

When should I choose in-person therapy over online therapy?
In-person therapy may be a better choice when you need a structured therapeutic environment separate from your daily life, when you find it difficult to focus or feel comfortable in an online setting, or when privacy at home is a concern. It may also be more appropriate if you are dealing with severe mental health symptoms that require close monitoring or if your therapy involves approaches that rely heavily on observing physical cues. On the other hand, if convenience, scheduling flexibility, or access to specialists outside your immediate area are priorities, online therapy may be a better fit. Many therapists offer both options, so you can also discuss with a provider which format might work best for your specific situation.

How do I find an in-person therapist?
You can use Psychology Today's therapist directory to find an in-person therapist in your area. You can search by location, insurance accepted, specialty areas, therapeutic approaches, and other criteria to narrow down providers who meet your needs. Each therapist profile includes information about their credentials, areas of expertise, and whether they offer in-person sessions. Once you have identified potential therapists, you can contact them directly through the directory to schedule an initial consultation and determine whether they are a good fit before committing to ongoing treatment. When reaching out, it can be helpful to confirm their availability for in-person appointments, their office location, and whether they accept your insurance.
