My therapeutic philosophy is based on the belief that we all have an optimal self; a self that is the best version of who we are and who we can be. It is my mission to help people uncover or re-discover their best selves. My past clinical positions provided opportunities to work with diverse populations and people from all walks of life. I am experienced with working with individuals with anxiety, depression, lack of self-esteem, trauma, personality disorders, and more. I have advanced training in LGBTQI+ mental health and gender transitioning.

I am an LGTQIA+ affirming therapist who focuses on relationship issues as well as individual support of clients from all walks of life in anger management, depression, anxiety, and conflict resolution. I also have experience dealing with food addiction and overcoming internal struggles that result in obesity. Dating culture today is also not the same as it once was which comes with the changes social media and apps bring to the game. The loneliness and feelings of disposability or rejection that many of us face are focuses that are near and dear to my heart.

Alison has over 14 years of experience in counseling those suffering from a variety of issues including mood disorders such as grief, anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder as well as behavior disorders such as Impulse Control and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. She has also worked extensively with children who have been abused and neglected and suffer from the trauma they endured in the formative years of their life.

Virginia, best known to her colleagues and clients as Betsy, is an active and very engaged psychotherapist for over 20 years in Georgia and Ohio. Her passion for helping others to achieve emotional wellness is reflected in her work with women, children and families. Her speciality is trauma work and the use of a variety of therapies including EMDR, IFS, CBT, Somatic Processing and the creative process to help clients understand their emotional inner life when just words are not enough.
