Psychotherapy: In a supportive, solution-focused approach, we will explore the issues, learn new coping skills, and strive to achieve your personal goals. Individual, couples and family therapy is available. We'll work together to better understand the challenges you're facing, which may lead to discovering alternative thought processes and/or different ways to navigate the situation. I lean heavily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Family Systems, while integrating other treatment modalities.

I primarily work with women who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, postpartum, managing cultural dynamics, relational/family stress, career transitions, etc. As a wife and mother, I truly understand the various challenges faced by other women in regards to their career, family, relationships and self-love. In addition, I specialize in psychological assessments for ADHD, reality TV/casting, diagnostic testing , personality, disability, pension & compensation working closely with psychiatrists and your other providers to determine the best course of treatment.

Defining the problem accurately is the first step to intervening effectively, and that's where assessment comes in. A detailed psychoeducational evaluation and intervention plan can increase confidence that you understand the issues, and are directing resources appropriately. I offer three types of assessments: comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, re- evaluation of previously diagnosed issues, and targeted assessments for ADHD, anxiety or depression.

I am a psychotherapist and neurodevelopmental psychologist. I offer psychotherapy and evaluation services to adults, children and families. I also also perform comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological testing . I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia and completed my clinical internship at Harvard Medical School. I was a staff psychologist at Boston Children's Hospital/ Harvard Medical School for two years following a two-year fellowship there. I was also an instructor at Harvard Medical School from 2015 to 2017. I have presented nationally on clinician issues and Autism Spectrum Disorder in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.

I have always enjoyed working with children, adolescents, and their families. Currently, my primary focus is on the assessment of autism spectrum disorders (ASD), as well as other common problems in the pediatric population, including developmental delays, learning problems, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), emotional disorders, behavioral issues, and more. I am also able to provide a variety of treatment planning/care coordination services, but do not currently offer therapy services. In addition to my work with children and families, I also offer assessment and treatment planning services for adults on the autism spectrum and with other developmental concerns.
