You’re the one everyone relies on—the one who made it out, broke barriers, and built a life of success. But inside, you’re exhausted. You’ve spent years holding it all together for everyone else, yet deep down, you crave more: secure relationships, boundaries without guilt, and the confidence to trust yourself—at work and in love. If you struggle with over-functioning, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or repeating unhealthy patterns, therapy can help you unlearn survival mode and finally feel safe, seen, and supported.

If you are feeling stuck, playing small, or wondering if this is it, I'd love to talk with you! You don't have to play by everyone else's rules. You can release that which no longer serves you and step into your most beautiful expression of you. (I know because I've done it!) If traditional therapy has left you wanting more, my style of coaching, energy healing, and therapy might be a good option to explore. I believe that when we start living our most authentic lives, the old conditioned self that used to be in charge takes a back seat and we all enjoy the journey a bit more.

At times everyone struggles and feels overwhelmed by challenging events (past or present), confusing feelings, and painful thoughts. It is helpful to have a confidential, objective, and experienced guide to sort through all this. I understand your cares and struggles. Those things that you feel as if you lost in childhood, teen years and even now can be replaced. You can see all things differently, and live the rest of your life with a different perspective, in newness loving yourself like you have never loved yourself before. You are worth it, you deserve it. This is a shared journey toward healing and creating your best life.

I enjoy helping individuals cope with stress, anxiety, depression, self esteem, relationship issues and the impact of organized religion.
Much like in my everyday life, I provide a non-judgmental approach to therapy. This allows you to show up as your whole self, unapologetically, and gives me the opportunity to better understand your needs. I look at things through a holistic and spiritual lens; believing there are many factors that affect our overall being.

Book with me now by clicking on my website. I work with clients who notice that the same habits and thoughts show up in their life. Maybe you experienced trauma (one time or repeated). Maybe it was recent, happened in early childhood, or later. You might feel like you are going through it over and over again, sometimes feeling triggered by people or certain situations. You might have patterns in relationships, anxiety, or like you are an imposter - holding it together at work but difficulty coping with life once you leave. You might feel like you are never enough, need to save/please others, fix situations, or self-blaming.

Self Esteem Therapists

When should a person seek therapy for low self-esteem?

When self-esteem problems begin to disrupt the healthy daily functioning of an individual, it may be a good time to look into therapy. If a person finds that they are not engaging with friends for fear of being judged, not completing work assignments because they don’t think they’re capable, or not finding romantic love because they don’t feel they’re worthy of it, a therapist may be able to help.

What are the signs of low self-esteem?

Low self-esteem is a common issue that can affect a person's mental and emotional well-being. Some common signs of low self-esteem include negative self-talk, perfectionism, social anxiety, difficulty making decisions, an inability to set boundaries, people-pleasing, and others. A lack of belief in oneself or one’s abilities and a feeling of not being worthy or deserving underlie most of these characteristics.

What causes low self-esteem?

Feelings of low self-worth can begin in childhood or adulthood. Being raised by a highly critical parent or growing up feeling constant disapproval can stay with a person well into adulthood. Specific issues in adulthood may also be a cause of low self-esteem. An unhappy relationship, a dysfunctional work or school experience can impact a person’s feelings of self-worth.

How can therapy improve self-esteem?

Therapists can help identify negative thought patterns that keep the client stuck in a loop of destructive self-talk and develop coping skills to change the voice in their head. A therapist can help with goal-setting, so that clients are better able to stay on task and build confidence from successfully completing work they’re proud of. Coaching a client on how to better communicate can improve relationships. These skills can result in someone with low self-esteem feeling empowered and living with less fear.
