Hi, I am Dr. D! Thanks for visiting my profile. Why should you consider receiving counseling services with me? My goal is to establish a connection with my clients to create a life-coping tool box that will strengthen them when feeling depressed, anxious, lonely, abandoned, taken for granted, rejected, and other common problems we may experience as humans in order to help them with creating a New Life! I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia working with a wide variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, grief, etc. I do take an active role in the counseling process as I work collectively with the client to navigate the presented concerns and create tangible goals to make life more manageable. I believe we develop psychological stress due to the inability to truly be who we are meant to be because we seek and desire belonging believing that we need to be who someone else wants us to be.
