I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative, and rooted in curiosity rather than judgment. I help clients better understand themselves—emotionally, mentally, and physically—so they can navigate life with greater clarity, resilience, and self-trust. I primarily work with adults navigating trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, and major life transitions, supporting them in reconnecting with their emotions, reducing unhelpful patterns, and cultivating a greater sense of empowerment and peace in daily life.

My practice was built for clients who are serious about change, deeply unsatisfied with the way things are and ready to put in the work that creates results. Mental health is not only our psychology, but also our physiology. If we listen, our brain and body provide guideposts to better days for us. Four powerful tools will help you get there: QEEG, Neurofeedback, Photobiomodulation (PBM), and Lifestyle analysis (Relationships, Community, Movement). You are ready for better days and ready to make a commitment. You are ready to do the work for at minimum 20 sessions, 2x/week, 90 minutes per session. I'll be right by your side.

You’re the one everyone relies on—the one who made it out, broke barriers, and built a life of success. But inside, you’re exhausted. You’ve spent years holding it all together for everyone else, yet deep down, you crave more: secure relationships, boundaries without guilt, and the confidence to trust yourself—at work and in love. If you struggle with over-functioning, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or repeating unhealthy patterns, therapy can help you unlearn survival mode and finally feel safe, seen, and supported.

I have intensive training in Radically-Open (RO) DBT, which is a trans-diagnostic treatment that helps clients who struggle with rigidity, social isolation, and inhibited emotional expression.
Despite what your brain is telling you, you don’t have to be perfect all the time. Freedom from anxious thoughts is possible. From the outside it probably looks like you’re “keeping it all together,” but inside you are struggling with intense shame, self-judgement, and sadness. You describe yourself as “Type-A” in a joking way, but the reality is your constant need to be productive, busy, and organized causes you daily suffering. The good news is that you don't have to stay stuck where you are forever.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT) Therapists
Who is DBT for?
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is designed for people who experience extreme emotional suffering because they lack the skills of emotion regulation and distress tolerance. The basic affliction can underlie a wide range of conditions, from borderline and other personality disorders to PTSD and treatment-resistant anxiety and depression. The therapy is helpful to those whose emotional reactivity is so intense it is disruptive to everyday functioning and leads to frequent crises.

Why do people need DBT?
The ability to regulate emotions is a core psychological skill that enables people to function in life and pay attention to the world outside themselves; it is consistently associated with well-being. DBT is designed to help people learn how to manage and regulate their emotions. Originally developed to treat people with borderline personality disorder whose extreme emotional suffering led to self-harming behavior and suicide attempts, the therapy is now applied to other conditions involving emotion dysregulation, particularly when other treatments have failed.

What happens in DBT?
Individuals meet weekly with their therapist to discuss their experiences relating to moods, behavior, and skills. Using checklists they maintain, they review emotional experiences and positive practices they engage in. The diaries help individuals discern what led up to a specific problem encountered, this is followed by discussion of the consequences of their actions. In addition, individuals may meet in class-like small groups to learn skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation and distress tolerance.

How long does DBT last?
Because it is intended to establish long-lasting behavioral change among those with persistent problems, DBT is designed to last six months to a year. DBT includes both weekly sessions of individual therapy and weekly skills-training sessions conducted in small groups. Studies of DBT have documented improvement within a year of treatment, particularly in controlling self-harmful behavior; nevertheless, individuals may require therapy for several years.
