My personal and professional experience with mental health began not as a therapist, rather as an advocate for equality in the women’s health community. It is my passion for social justice that has led me to the sacred space in which I can now support others. I trust the power of acceptance and genuineness. I believe that when we are true to self, growth and healing can naturally occur.

Using Brainspotting, Ketamine-Assisted Therapy, IFS and Talk Therapy, I guide clients toward integrating their experiences, releasing what no longer serves them, and finding peace within their story.
“Grief Sucks.” - Everyone Ever. No matter who you are - how you live your life - or what you believe you will suffer the loss of someone or something you care deeply about. And when you do, your life will be forever changed. Some experiences are complicated by the circumstances of the loss- Suicide, violent death, loss of a young person, or other challenges - making it even harder to acknowledge and mourn.

Despite the chaos of today's world, there is an incredible opportunity for change. You can learn to turn anxiety into your superpower and heal from past traumas that have kept you repeating the same behaviors that keep you stuck. If you want to improve how you show up in relationships, at work, or your overall well-being, you must do the inner work. People who suffer from anxiety nearly always have unexpressed negative feelings about some problem in their lives. The inner work helps you become more mindful and empowers you to respond from a place of choice rather than reaction.

I consider it a privilege to come alongside my clients and hear their unique journeys. I believe the past can intrude on the present and therefore affect your future. Are you telling yourself lies that originate in past traumas? Are you constantly scanning to see how other people feel but don’t know your own feelings? What would happen if the part of you that resists counseling stepped aside and change became possible?

You’re the one everyone relies on—the one who made it out, broke barriers, and built a life of success. But inside, you’re exhausted. You’ve spent years holding it all together for everyone else, yet deep down, you crave more: secure relationships, boundaries without guilt, and the confidence to trust yourself—at work and in love. If you struggle with over-functioning, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or repeating unhealthy patterns, therapy can help you unlearn survival mode and finally feel safe, seen, and supported.

I draw from Brainspotting, CBT, mindfulness, & extended sessions to help you work with these patterns rather than trying to override them.
If hopping on a plane was the fix for your biggest challenges, you wouldn’t be here right now. Yes, sometimes all you need is shade & a vacay. But that feeling fades fast & you’re back to square one.
You’re functioning enough to get by, respected by the general public, and self-aware. But your patterns are slippery, especially in relationships, & insight alone hasn’t changed them.
My role is to notice what you say & what you don’t say & to challenge you in ways you can’t do solo. This work helps you relate differently to uncomfortable emotions, not by getting rid of them, but by understanding how to work with them.

Brainspotting Therapists
How does brainspotting work?
Brainspotting works by using eye positioning to identify and process traumatic memories so that a client is better able to move forward and live with less fear. The theory behind brainspotting is that by identifying where a person looks when thinking of traumatic memories, a therapist will be able to guide them to focus on that spot and work with the client to get them out of the “fight, flight, freeze” response associated with the traumatic memory.
Is brainspotting an evidence-based therapy?
Brainspotting is a theory-based alternative therapy. It is one of the newest forms of treatment, so very little research has been completed that examines the mechanism by which it works. The theory behind brainspotting is that eye position can be linked to areas of the brain that store and process memory.
How effective is brainspotting?
Because it is such a new treatment, the effectiveness of brainspotting cannot be quantified. Some people have found it to be effective on its own, or in conjunction with other types of therapy. It is considered an alternative therapy, and it is popular with people for whom more traditional therapies have proven ineffective.
How long does brainspotting take to work?
A typical brainspotting session will last between 60 to 90 minutes. There is no required number of sessions needed to complete brainspotting therapy, but in many cases it is delivered over the course of about six sessions. Clients are encouraged to rate their level of distress prior to a session and again following a session, and to track progress.
