My mission is to be your co-pilot in addressing mental health issues that often go unspoken.

Having been trained in a humanistic/holistic model of therapy (Experiential, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, Family Systems), I have adhered to what is now called an “integrative” approach to mental health issues. Specifically, when I engage with a client we focus on the interaction of all the dimensions of his or her life, i.e., biological, psychological, social, behavioral, and spiritual. Subsequently, we embark on an exciting journey together to explore a path that leads to a more optimal state of well-being and a greater sense of wholeness.

Kathryn Allen is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with 6 years of experience in the mental health field. Kathryn is passionate about assisting children, adolescents, and adults to live more fulfilled lives by identifying the root cause of negative emotions and thoughts. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment issues, and family issues. Kathryn completed her master’s degree in Professional Counseling with an emphasis on children and adolescents at Grand Canyon University. She has worked while going to school since she was 18 years old and is now a new mom.

Therapy with me is unique because I highly value authenticity and will always encourage you to be your whole self in a non judgmental, warm, and safe space. I utilize a natural conversational approach in my work which allows us to connect in the therapeutic space. I enjoy being along for the ride of life and serving as an unconditional source of positivity and acceptance for those I support, no matter what. I am honored to help individuals struggling with fears and challenges that hinder their growth and exploration of life. My commitment to reach those who are experiencing great sadness and a lack of motivation in their lives helps me to understand my clients' alienation and pain. I take it as my duty to foster a relationship with those in need and reach them on their level. With couples, I use emotionally focused therapy (EFT) to help clients change their negative patterns and move to a new music where they yearn to support each other.

Dr. Bailey is a licensed psychologist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, young adults and their families in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, OCD/panic, trauma and attachment disorders, executive functioning difficulties, behavioral issues, school refusal, social and academic difficulties and family issues.
