My approach to counseling is to help you uncover unconscious habits that are interfering with the life you desire. My central focus is aimed at managing anxiety, depression, grief, stress, work/life balance, substance abuse, and life transitions. ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor who is trauma-informed, strengths-focused and enjoys bringing humor and creativity into the therapy room. My aim is to create a supportive, open space where I work with clients collaboratively to create goals for treatment and empower clients towards living a life where they find meaning and purpose. I provide clients with skills towards accepting thoughts and emotions, learning how to manage challenging emotions, finding peace in the present moment, resolving trauma responses and difficult memories.

My goal as a counselor is to help children, teens and young adults UNLEARN how to be their own worst enemies. Perhaps they're inflexible and always want things their way, leading to strained relationships with family and friends. Or they worry so much that it doesn't seem like they are fully living life anymore. Maybe their self esteem is so low, they've lost sight of what makes them a beautiful being. Childhood and adolescence is a time when a person learns about themselves and the world around them. I aim to meet a client where they are and understand how they view both themselves and the world. Then can change begin to occur.
