Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MSW, LICSW, LCSW
My method of practice is eclectic, using relational theory, play and art therapy techniques, cognitive-behavioral, relaxation &
training, psycho-education, family systems, coping skill instruction, behavior management training, goal-focused and strength perspective approaches.
I specialize in working with children and families struggling with problems that interfere with social, emotional, behavioral and academic functioning. I believe in a collaborative, down to earth, child-centered and child-friendly, non-judgmental, compassionate and strengths perspective approach when working with children and families in need. My focus will be on building a strong and trusting relationship where your child and family can share openly and work towards healing. I believe in not only addressing problems in goal oriented ways, but also to build on your child's and your family strengths in meeting your therapy goals.
