I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Georgia. I work with people who present with a broad range of problems and life issues. My clients often feel overburdened, stressed out and maybe even trapped. I specialize in helping people with relationships, life stress, and, of course, anxiety, depression, and addictive problems. Questions about parenting? I'm a facilitator of the Parenting with Love and Logic curriculum.

When addressing mental health, it is vital to acknowledge the influence of the environment around us. In recent years, the world has presented us with numerous challenges. I believe in taking a holistic approach to therapy that considers individual experiences as well as the influence of family, community, and society. By exploring these various dimensions, we can uncover insights and develop effective strategies to more easily navigate life. I work collaboratively and compassionately to support clients dealing with grief, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) I am committed to helping adolescents and adults move forward in life and heal from trauma. I specialize in trauma-informed therapy for individuals and groups. I have worked with a variety of presenting issues including depression, anxiety, ADHD, post-traumatic stress, and complex trauma.

I have 20 years of experience working with individuals who were in some sort of disconnected state. By disconnected I mean from sound mind, marginalized by poverty, ability, age, or circumstances. As a social worker my approach is from a strengths perspective when working with individuals within their environment. I help with understanding how to advocate for one’s needs and exploring one’s rights. I help individuals with becoming aware of their feelings, thoughts and beliefs and teach ways to accept and then change. I provide support by holding a safe space for a person to work through the failures and successes of their journey.

I have been practicing in the social work field for over 7 years. I've worked with individuals, couples, and groups. My background and training includes: couples & sex therapy, oncology/chronic illness, as well as grief and loss.

I work with adult and teenaged men and women whose chief complaints are of drug and alcohol addiction, sex and porn addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, childhood sexual abuse & adult sexual assault, LGBTQIA+ struggles, and death, dying, grief & loss.
