Welcome! I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in evidence-based treatments for Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). My approach to treatment is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with influences from mindfulness and family systems. I have been extensively trained in numerous evidence-based treatments including Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Exposure with Response Prevention (ERP).

Therapy is a collaborative process. I feel so lucky to have spent most of my adult life helping people. I have been a Director of large hospitals & Pain Institutes, Chief Psychologist for a residential hospital, Laurel Heights, in Atlanta, GA. However, most rewarding to me is the privilege of working with individuals & couples in my private practice. Developing trust with each of my patients and witnessing the growth and progress they have accomplished is the greatest feeling. My experience includes working with children & adolescents, families, couples and adults.

Welcome! My practice is open during early EVENING hours to accommodate after school schedules. I have been fortunate to have 19 years of counseling experience in both the school setting and the private sector, working with children ranging in ages 5-18, adults, and with families. While working with children and adolescents, I believe that the family dynamic is an extremely important part of the therapeutic process, and will often involve parents and siblings in therapy when it is helpful. I also work with parents who need support with parenting help in many different scenarios (toddlers to teens).

As a therapist, I believe that you are capable of living a meaningful and healthy life.
