I specialize in maternal mental health through the journey of trying to conceive, pregnancy, and postpartum care for moms and dads. I also specialize in anxiety, depression, career counseling , and premarital/marital counseling, and family counseling.

My typical client experiences anxiety, depression, and cognitive distortions. They need unwavering support, and an opportunity to change maladaptive patterns of thinking. Their goals consist of emotional management, conflict resolution, improved self-confidence, and communication skills. They want to have a healthy life and better relationships with others.

Life is complicated. How we deal with these complications will determine the level of contentment one will have. You may not be the cause of all that troubles you, but you are the only one who can come up with solutions for these problems that will work for you. My job is to help you discover what is the reason for your pain and help you deal with the causes. Each person is unique, there are no cookie cutter solutions. How I started, “ I wanted to understand myself, and to help other people. There were challenges in my own life I wanted to overcome”. And my journey begins from working as a bookkeeper in a local funeral home, hearing the woes and concerns of colleagues and giving out advice from the heart. Eventually, completing a Master’s program in Counseling and Social Work, and my first counseling experience, working with adolescents as a substance abuse counselor and outreach coordinator.
