I have over 25 years experience working with individuals and families and am specially drawn to issues of parenting and adolescents. I treat depression, anxieties, phobias, trauma (including victims of crime and sexual molestation), and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) using the most current therapies to help clients overcome the symptoms and related issues. I am also experienced in working with anxiety and depression in children, adolescents as well as adults. My goal is to assist clients to discover their "best self" as the most effective pathway to happiness, wholeness and a future filled with success..
I was a business executive and owner and taught in the Masters of Business programs at several major universities and am a professor of Psychology at Hope International University. I am an artist, musician, and published poet and often utilize these as a means to deepen the therapeutic experience.
Though classically trained, I am a Christian. As such I carefully approach therapy with a view of the precious nature and wonder of individuals and their relationships while remaining aware of the human condition and the value of the unique relationship that develops between client and therapist.
