Having issues in your relationship? Feeling overwhelmed by problems with addictions, depression, anxiety or trauma? I understand. In our therapy sessions, I will create a safe space for us to work on solutions to issues you or you and your partner may face. I have a reputation for being an excellent listener, and ability to provide support and feedback at your pace. I work with couples and individuals from diverse backgrounds and sexual orientations. I use a method called Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) for approaching you and your partner's relationship issues. Let's start a conversation.
I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. This mode of therapy is effective in treating anxiety, depression, trauma and addiction issues. If EMDR is a good fit for your treatment, we will work together in sessions using a light bar, hand pulsers, and talking approach.
My background is providing treatment to adults with substance abuse and mental health issues. As a counselor, I am accepting, honest, and deeply caring.
