I am a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience in providing psychotherapy. I currently work with adults who suffer from an array of psychological problems including but not limited to depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and relationship problems. I am especially sensitive to cultural and gender issues and provide a personalized and integrated therapeutic approach using a combination of therapies: humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and family systems to help improve the individual's well-being, mental health, and relationships.
Since having a meaningful relationship is an essential component of the therapeutic process, I use a client-centered approach to facilitate a safe environment for you to be heard and feel safe. After my assessment, I develop a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs and aimed to enhance self-esteem and foster healthy coping and problem-solving skills.
As I maintain a non-judgmental and an empathic stance, I find that exploring and resolving issues from the past tend to promote therapeutic growth. Through insight and self-awareness, I fuel the clients’ resiliency, help them to identify their strengths, and feel empowered to make life-altering changes.
