I remember being a teenager and not feeling like I could talk to anyone. Oftentimes I kept my feelings inside and never felt confident to express myself. I found solace in journaling which continues to be a safe place. Over time I learned that keeping my feelings buried inside did more harm to me and never helped me to feel secure. You are entitled to your feelings and need a safe place to express them. How you feel matters and therapy will provide a safe space to explore your feelings. Too often we are concerned about hurting others and overlook how we hurt ourselves. It is important to acknowledg how you feel and to be validated.

I can assist by helping you to explore the presenting concerns in a safe and nurturing environment. We diminish our voice and feel as though no one understands. With your permission, I encourage the use of Expressive Arts Therapy as a multi-arts approach to psychotherapy and counseling. I am also licensed in the state of New Jersey.

A one-time (15) minute free initial consultation is offered as a brief introduction and a chance to discuss whether or not my services suit you needs. If you are calling on behalf of your child it is important they be a part of that conversation. It is recommended that you schedule a virtual meeting in order for all parties to be present.
