I want you to become comfortable in your own skin and integrate your body and spirit. Many times we experience feeling out of sorts and not quite in sync with ourselves. Sometimes this is because of trauma, illness an accident or a life transition of any kind. It could also be simply realizing we have aged and can no longer move the way we thought we could. I will help you remember the joy of being free within yourself without the inner voice of self judgement because we are all athletes and beautiful. As human beings, we are meant to move to access our passions.
I work with families, individuals with complex trauma; physical/sexual/mental trauma, Reactive Attachment Disorder, depression,anxiety. I use Dance Movement Therapy, yoga and psychotherapy with a holistic perspective addressing mind, body, spirit. I empower the family to acknowledge each other despite shame, guilt, anger and sorrow that may have been inflicted at any point.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, a registered dance movement therapist and A yoga instructor, I am an Infant Developmental Movement Educator. I work with moms and children to strengthen the bond/ attachment between mother and infant, children, preteens, and teens.
