Freshstart Referral Systems is a 501C3 faith-based non-profit organization that provides education & mentoring to individuals with life controlling issues, such as substance abuse/co-occurring disorders and or a history of incarceration. We provide individual/group support, we refer individuals to the appropriate treatment centers for help (Detoxification units, outpatient care, long-term inpatient treatment)… so that they may get a “FRESH START” again in life. FSRS also provides alcohol, tobacco, and other drug education for schools, churches and other organizations in the New Jersey and New York area.
We promote awareness of substance disorders and its destructive behavior patterns as a primary, progressive, chronic and often fatal disease. To empower individuals to make healthy, responsible choices regarding alcohol/substance abuse that may cause drug/criminal lifestyles.
