I a a professional counselor licensed in Pennsylvania. I practice using primarily psychodynamic and person-centered therapy. Through these modalities, you will work on a deeper level to explore causes and underlying patterns of presenting problems and easing resistance. I will provide unconditional positive regard, so you do not have to worry about feeling pressured or judged. Areas of expertise include relationship issues, anxiety, low self-esteem and feelings of being stuck in unhealthy patterns of functioning.

I focus on trauma, depression, anxiety, attachment difficulties, & relationship/family issues. My ideal client would be open to change and exploring more positive ways to see themselves. My ideal client would be someone that values our time together and is present for sessions. My ideal client would be someone who can reflect from within and be willing to do the work, with a sincere desire to change their lifestyle. This client would be flexible and willing to see the other side of the coin, exploring the past and delving into the present.

Relationships can be hard. They can be a source of tremendous joy and excruciating pain, sometimes both at the same time. They can end before we are ready or they can last longer than we would have wanted. I believe that healthy interpersonal relationships are an important part of mental health and that the most important relationship, the one that makes all the other ones possible, is the one we have with our own self. Sometimes it can be hard to figure it out all on your own which is where therapy can help. It is another relationship after all, albeit very different from the others.
