If you choose video counseling, I find it to be equally effective as face-to-face sessions.

We work best with clients who are interested in deep reflective work, exploring how their early attachments, past relationships, and traumas impact their lives. We enjoy work that is creative and often step outside the bounds of traditional talk therapy to help clients move through difficult barriers to healing such as emotional dysregulation, dissociation, and parts of self. Whether you have previously seen other therapists or if this is your first time seeking help, I am an active and curious therapist which tends to make it a little easier to engage in this process. I believe that every one of us deserves to live the fullest life we can, even with the very real obstacles that stand in our way. I also believe that struggling is an inherent part of being human. The way we interact with our past, current situation, and dreams and goals can actually lead to increased suffering instead of moving closer to what we want.

I have been practicing as a psychotherapist for 30 years and I very much enjoy my work. My goal is to help people with healing, and in so doing help them to live a more joyful and meaningful life. I have years of experience helping clients address and recover from many different issues. I work with emotional wounds that are often at the core of issues that clients bring to me, and with healing trauma including religious trauma. I have found that when these wounds can be addressed in a safe environment, healing can take place. I work with adults of all life stages, with adolescents, children, with individuals, families and groups.
