I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Sex Addiction Therapist - Supervisor, and licensed MFT with a private practice in Santa Monica, California since 1994. I offer interpersonal psychotherapy with individuals, families, and groups as well as psychological testing and assessment. My areas of expertise include: substance and process addictions, trauma/abuse, positive psychology, impaired professionals and first-responders, as well as grief/loss, disfigurement, and cross-cultural issues. I provide traditional, forensic, and pre-employment psychological assessment as well as Collaborative/Therapeutic evaluations.

My work as a marriage and family therapist, clinical art therapist and somatic psychotherapist is integrative, interactive, and holistic. As a certified (IAAP) Jungian analyst I have a passion to work with three specific groups: 1. Men and women, aged 35 - 65, who are experiencing a Mid - Life Crises/Transition, often accompanied by depression and anxiety, and a loss of meaning in life. 2. Young men and women, aged 19 - 34, who are experiencing a "Quarter Life Crises," searching for a more soulful life in work, relationships and beyond. 3. Therapists who want to incorporate Jungian analysis and dream work into their practices, and also those who may want to enter training to become a Jungian analyst. .

During the pandemic, I am offering tele therapy sessions for new clients to deal with juggling family and work. I have helped many professionals with negotiation skills and difficult bosses. In 30 years as a psychologist, I've actively helped individuals and couples learn tools to create confidence, change negative thinking, and create healthy relationships. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, couples communication and work issues. I practice EMDR which accelerates your ability to get unstuck from negative beliefs, phobias, and traumatic memories.

I am trained in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing and CPT, and help my clients who have unprocessed trauma that impacts them to heal. I am also a registered yoga teacher, reiki practitioner, & trained in MBSR. I am licensed in NY, NJ and California and see clients virtually in all locations.

I provide supportive therapy services to clients struggling with all kinds of issues, and all different levels of functioning. Whether you have several issues you wish to process in just a few sessions with an objective ear, or you have just been released from higher psychiatric levels of care, I have space and availability for you. I am very flexible sometimes seeing clients online or in person, sometimes once per month or once per week. My ideal clients strongly desire to change their lives, explore parts of themselves, or use our time and space to build on the hard work they have already done.
