About
I desire to walk with clients to empower growth, healing and restoration personally and relationally. I use an alternative approach to traditional counseling by partnering clients with horses during sessions. I provide equine assisted counseling for children, adolescents, teens and adults. I have experience assisting clients with a variety of issues, including anxiety, anger management, impulse control, depression, trauma, PTSD and many other concerns as well. If you are struggling with challenging life circumstances and would like someone to walk with you, please contact me. I am passionate about helping people heal and become free to live life abundantly.
Equine Assisted Counseling (EAC) -- Equine Assisted Counseling incorporates horses into groups, couples, families, and individual counseling sessions to facilitate emotional growth and learning. In the counseling session, clients receive feedback from the horse and utilize this information to increase awareness of how personal behaviors and emotions impact communications with others.
Horses teach individuals how to live in harmony with others, to forgive easily and extend trust again without a grudge, to live in the present without worry of the future or the pain of regret. They offer unconditional support without judgment and a safe place to work through challenges.
