I have over 40 years experience helping people make healthy, positive transitions in their lives. Although I have worked most with people suffering from alcohol use disorders and their families, I also focus on addressing personal issues and on enhancing a sense of personal well-being, overcoming anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma or other emotional issues. If you are seeking help overcoming a problem with alcohol I offer both moderation and abstinence as your choice of treatment goals.

I utilize collaborative techniques such as motivational interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) that have been shown over and over again by research to be effective at helping clients move to a healthier place based on more effectively utilizing their own strengths.
