I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 25 years of experience working with children, single parents, families, spouses, active-duty service members, veterans, and individuals experiencing homelessness. From my learnings and experience, I have helped clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, anger, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)/trauma, substance abuse, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I also counsel people who have experienced physical and emotional abuse. I am a Master Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP).
I earned my first Master’s in Human Relations at the University of Oklahoma and my second in Mental Health Counseling at Argosy University. I combine humanistic, holistic, and spiritual therapies along with solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive restructuring, narrative therapy, and motivational interviewing.
I adapt the treatment plan to meet each client’s unique and specific needs. My compassion and empathy help my clients feel safe and understood.
